Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum

Since there are around 30 Northeastern co-ops in Seattle right now, the university tries to organize events for us to do together. There will be a few throughout the six months we are here and the first one was yesterday, at the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum. It was super close, right next to the Space Needle, so like a 15 minute walk. Everything in the museum is crafted by Dale Chihuly, whose work can be seen all over the world. It was all so pretty! These pictures don't do it justice at all. We were amazed how all of the sculptures were made by one man!

It was also fun to meet some of the other Northeastern co-ops who I don't work with; people in other departments of Amazon or other companies all together. My friend circle tripled in size in about an hour and I'm excited to explore the city with new people in the future.

Mom comes to visit next weekend (WOOOO!!!) so stay tuned for awesome pictures from those adventures! :) :) :)
